The Power of Color An exhibition by Bryan F. Peterson

This exhibition began as a celebration with Bryan, and today it transforms into an act of gratitude: a luminous tribute to a photographer who found visual poetry in the everyday.

Bryan F. Peterson, an international reference in contemporary photography, had the rare ability to see the extraordinary in the details and to make the camera an ally of wonder. His legacy is vast: through the images he leaves behind, the lessons he shared, and the inspiration he sparked in us.

This exhibition brings together photographs selected in close collaboration with the artist shortly before his passing in April 2025. Organized around four thematic axes —Silhouettes, Portraits, Nature, and Movement— the images clearly express what he tirelessly championed: the power of color to tell stories, to move, and to awaken the senses.

The photographs invite the viewer to pause. There is a clear call to contemplation, evoked by a singularity carefully constructed through the photographer’s personal vision. Color, as the main protagonist, becomes a magnetic force that hypnotizes and stirs emotions—not only for its beauty, but because it acts as a beacon, drawing the eye back to the image again and again.

With scenes full of energy and harmony, Bryan knew how to balance patience and boldness, offering us magical moments that, without his eye, might have gone unnoticed. In these works, there is a choreography between light and form, between chromatic vibration and human gesture, between contemplative stillness and the dizzying motion of the world.

Today, we celebrate his legacy with a selection that doesn’t aim to close a chapter, but to awaken: awe, curiosity, and the desire to look. So that each visitor may find in these images a spark of what Bryan taught us: that to photograph is, ultimately, another way to love the world.
